Even though the picture above is not me, it represents my life. My avocation is photography. My vocation is nowhere near. Second to that in enjoyment is writing and followed by competition BBQ. I enjoy taking pictures and over the years have developed an eye for seeing good pictures. I also live for camping, hiking, caving, scuba diving and flying.

The quotes above are words I try to live by when taking pictures. In these days of Photoshopping everything and the search for the right equipment, I feel people have missed the actual point of shooting images. Of course, there is art to creating with Photoshop. As for helping people to see, I think a more accurate statement would be letting people see through my eyes. Good words, both of them.
