As an introducton to my pictures while I build pages, a couple of years ago my wife and I traveled to Mount Baker, in northern Washington, to see the sights. I am always on the lookout for strange sights along the way and was rewarded with a little shopping area where there was a fence made entirely of downhill skis.
Parked in front of the skis was a very cool Airstream that was turned into a barbershop. And as soon as I can find them on my computer I will post a photo.
Continuing up the road was the most beautiful valleys and lots of awesome scenery. We continued up to the top of the road and saw the snow you see in the header. It was taken with a polarizing filter which is why the sky stands out so. It also made the snow really contrast with the sky.
BTW, my telephoto lens broke my fall jamming into my back. The mountain shown is why I call this my favorite place to go to.
